Present: Applicant with counsel.
The application in hand is filed by the applicant /
petitioner seeking release of award amount kept in his name for a
period till he attains the age of majority. Petitioner submits that he
has attained the age of majority and filed his school leaving
certificate, copy of Aadhar card as well as PAN card along with the
application and as per these documents date of birth of applicant /
petitioner is 05.07.2006.
Nazir has reported that an amount of Rs. 1,01,408/- has
been deposited in the present case.
Heard and record perused.
As per order dated 10.04.2017, a compensation of
Rs.75,000/- was awarded in favour of petitioner and since the
petitioner was child at that time, it was ordered that award amount
would be kept deposited in interest bearing FDR in the name of
petitioner till he attains the age of majority.
In view of the above discussion, as the petitioner has
attained the age of majority, accordingly, the Manager, State Bank
of India, Branch District Rohini Court, Delhi is directed to transfer
the entire award amount along with interest accrued thereon into the
saving bank account of applicant / petitioner on producing his bank
passbook.
The bank manager wherein the applicant / petitioner is
maintianing his saving bank account is directed to comply with the
above direction with respect to release of awarded amount.

The applicant / petitioner would be allowed to
withdraw this amount only through withdrawal slip and by no other
mode or digital mode i.e. Debit card / Credit card
/ATM/NEFT/RTGS/letter etc.
Copy of this order be sent to the above said bank
managers through applicant / petitioner for compliance. Copy of
this order be given dasti to the applicant / petitioner.
Application is disposed off accordingly.
Main file be sent back to record room.
