The present application is filed for extension of interim bail on
the ground of medical condition of father of the applicant.
Ld. counsel for the applicant submits that vide order dated
05.01.2026, three weeks interim bail was granted to the present applicant to
take care of his ailing father. The said interim bail was granted till
26.01.2026, however, the further extension of the interim bail is sought on
these grounds.
However, Ld. counsel for the applicant has appeared in the
court today and r submits that the father of the applicant has expired on
23.01.2026 at 10:00 p.m. during his treatment. Therefore, the present
application has become infructuous and is accordingly dismissed.
However, today Ld. counsel for the applicant has moved misc.
application seeking continuation of interim bail of the applicant on ground
of the death of his father.
Let notice of the said application be issued to the State to
file the reply after verifying the factum of death of the father of the
applicant.
Put up for reply and consideration on 24.01.2026.
