chasis number and engine number alongwith the negatives duly
authenticated and certified and a detailed panchnama of the case
property also be prepared before such release. The IO/SHO is
further directed to obtain the signatures/endorsement of the
applicant/ complainant on the back of the photographs and the
detailed panchnama. It is also directed that the investigating officer
shall keep on record the permanent address of the applicant, his
identity proof, his address proof as well as his phone number. It is
further directed that the applicant/registered owner shall join the
investigation/trial as and when directed to do so and will also
undertake that he will intimate to the Court any change in his
address.
IO/SHO is directed to place the photographs alongwith
negative/CD before the Court within seven working days after
release of the vehicle, if the chargesheet has already been filed in
Court and the matter is pending trial. Otherwise, the same are to be
filed with the chargesheet.
All these documents shall be filed by the investigating
officer alongwith the final report as and when the same is filed.
