Bail application is opposed by the Ld. APP for the
State on the grounds that investigation is at initial stage.
In the case titled
Siddharam Satlingappa Mhetre v.
State of Maharashtra [(2011) 1 SCC 694 : (2011) 1 SCC (Cri)
514] , Hon'ble Supreme Court has observed that: (SCC p. 728, para
84)
“84. Just as liberty is precious to an
individual, so is the society's interest in
maintenance of peace, law and order. Both are
equally important.”

Keeping in view that gravity of allegations and the
fact that investigation is at initial stage in the present matter, this
court in the interest of justice and to ensure that the investigation is
carried out in a proper manner, does not deem it fit to grant bail to
the accused at this stage. Hence, application stands dismissed.
Application stands disposed off. Copy of the order be
given
dasti to Ld. Counsel for accused, as prayed for.
