This is an application moved on behalf of the
complainant/applicant Shri Chhotelal Ram seeking direction to the IO to
release the seized amount of Rs. 39,260.95/- and 49,998/- to the
applicant.
Present: Shri Jamshed Ansari, Ld. APP for the State.
Ms. Lalita Pilania and Ms. Pooja Verma Ld. Counsels for
the complainant along with complainant Shri Chhotelal
Ram.
As per reply of IO, the balance amount lying in the PNB
accounts are Rs. 49,998/- and Rs. 927/- and she has no objection to
release the same in favour of the applicant/victim.
Submission heard. Application perused.
In view of the facts and circumstances of the case and
upon considering the reply of the IO, the application stands allowed.
Hence, the concerned Bank Manager of Punjab Na-
tional Bank having A/c No. 1589010107624, IFSC Code
PUNB0158920, Branch Bapuji Nagar, Goa is directed to release the
amount of Rs. 49,998/-and the Bank Manager of Punjab National
Bank having A/c No. 1718202100000389, IFSC Code PUNB0171820,
Branch Durganagar, West Bengal is also directed to release the
amount of Rs. 927/- to the complainant Shri Chhote Lal Ram having
A/c No. 90672010063687, IFSC Code CNRB0019067.
The applicant shall file an indemnity before the IO that in
case the said amount is claimed by someone else later, the applicant
shall indemnify the said claimant to the extent of money released to her.
Copy of this order be given dasti to the applicant and IO.
