Counsel for the respondent that respondent does not wish to file any separate reply to the present appeal and therefore, the ld. Counsel would straight away address his arguments on the appeal of the appellant. In view of the submissions put up for arguments on the present appeal on 09.01.2026 at 12:00 PM. Further since the perusal of the appeal of the appellant reveals that he has claimed that a sum of Rs. 7.5 lacs in cash were paid to the respondent in lieu of which the cheque in question which is the subject matter of the present appeal was issued by respondent and the said transaction was also not reflected by the appellant in his ITR for the said year, let a copy of the present appeal as well as the original complaint be also sent to the Commissioner Income Tax Delhi for necessary action as per law against the appellant.
