Accused is present on bail with Sh. Mukesh Kumar
Singh, Ld. Counsel.
Arguments on charge heard.
The case of the prosecution is that on 05.04.2026 at
about 8.20 p.m., complainant Renu returned home from market
alongwith her daughter-in-law Ramila and niece Maina and started
talking with her neighbour Geeta at E-5 Block, Gali No. 7, 5th Pushta,
Sonia Vihar, Delhi. In the meantime, accused Veer came stumbling
into the street. Complainant told him ‘Can’t you quit your addiction’.
On which, accused became furious and gave a danda blow on the head
of complainant due to which she became unconscious. Niece of
complainant called the police at no. 112, PCR came and shifted her to
JPC Hospital. On 06.04.2026, accused Veer was arrested from his
house and weapon of offence i.e. danda was also recovered. On the
complaint of Smt. Renu, present FIR was registered.
Charge-sheet has been filed for the offences u/s 110
BNS. From the above, a
prima facie case is made out against the
accused for the said offences. Charge framed accordingly, to which
the accused pleaded not guilty and claimed trial.
Be listed for PE on 14.09.2026. PWs at serial no. 2 to 6
be summoned for the said date.
