Present: Sh. Raghav Narayan, Ld. Counsel for complainant along with
complainant.
Sh. Vijay Sharma, Ld. Proxy Counsel for accused along with accused.
The mediation proceedings between the parties have failed.
The matter is fixed today for arguments on application under Section 143
A of NI Act and for cross examination of the complainant but both the parties jointly
submits that the matter can be settled between the parties.
The accused submits that he is ready to settle the matter with the
complainant for an amount of Rs. 6 lakhs, which he will pay by way of 4 equal
monthly installments of Rs. 1,50,000/- each starting from 15.07.2023.
Complainant submits that he consents to the settlement and is ready to
give the appropriate time to the accused for making the payment qua the settlement.
Separate statement of the accused be recorded to this effect.
In view of the same, the matter is adjourned.
Put up for verification of payment/further orders on 15.07.2023.
