Present : Ld. Counsel for the complainant.
Submissions heard. Record perused.
SHO concerned is directed to file an action taken report (ATR) stating the
following :-
1. Whether any complaint has been made/ received by the complainant in the
police station.
2. If yes, whether any action has been taken on the complaint.
3. Whether as a result of investigation/ inquiry, any cognizable offence has
been made out against the accused persons and whether any action has been
taken by the police.
4. If yes, whether any FIR has been registered and status of investigation.
5. If no cognizable offence has been made out, whether the complainant has
been informed accordingly.
Further, SHO shall also clarify on the following aspects:
a. Whether there is any writ petition pending before the Hon'ble Supreme
Court or Hon'ble High Court of Delhi, wherein similar relief has been sought.
b. Whether any FIR has been registered against the alleged acts on the date of
incident.
c. Whether the CCTV footage pertaining to the incident has already been
preserved. In case, it has not been preserved, the SHO shall ensure the
preservation within 07 days from the date of the orders.

d. Whether PS Connaught Place has jurisdiction in the present matter.
Meanwhile, SHO concerned shall shall ensure that the CCTV preservation of
the alleged incident is carried out and shall file the compliance report. Needless to
say, the direction shall be ignored, if the necessary action for preservation has
already been taken in pursuance to the order of any other Court.
Copy of the complaint along with the annexures be supplied to the Naib Court
of PS concerned today itself.
Copy of order be sent to SHO concerned for compliance. Reply should be in
point wise manner addressing each query of the Court, as raised above.
List the matter for filing report now on 01.10.2026. Date is given as per the
convenience of the Counsel (s).
