Notice u/s 251 Cr.P.C. framed against the accused. Notice has been
readover and explained to the accused to which he pleaded not guilty and claimed
trial. Plea of defence of accused has been recorded.
Accused in his reply to the notice as well as statement under section 294
has admitted that the cheque in question belong to him and that same has been
dishonoured. Therefore there is no need to examine bank witness at serial no. 1A and
3 has mentioned in the list of witnesses filed by the complainant. Accordingly he is
dropped from the list of witnesses.
I have interacted with both the parties. There seems to be elements of
settlement. On joint submissions, the matter is referred to Mediation Cell to explore
the possibility of settlement for 30.09.2024 at 02.00 PM. The details of the parties for
the purpose of Mediation are as follows:
