Present : Ms. Rituanjaya Tiwari, Ld. Counsel for the
complainant.
Matter is at the stage of appearance of the accused.
It has been submitted on behalf of the complainant
that the present matter has been settled between both the parties.
It has further been submitted that the complainant has received
the entire settlement amount in this matter qua the cheque in
question. Ld. counsel for the complainant has stated that she has
instructions from the complainant to withdraw the present matter.
Statement of counsel for the complainant recorded.
Statement perused. The undersigned is satisfied with the same.
In view of the statement of counsel for the
complainant, the present matter stands compounded u/s. 147 NI
Act and is disposed off accordingly. Accused stands acquitted of
the offence u/s 138 N.I. Act. Bail bond/surety bond, if any, stands
canceled.
Original documents, if any, be returned as per rules.
Since nothing else survives, let the present case file
be consigned to the record room after due compliance.
