Present : Shri Puneett Singhal, Ld. SPP for Department along with
Ms. Sarika Sehgal and Ms. Yashi Pandey, Advocates.
I.O./Air Customs Officer Prince in person.
It is stated onbehalf of the Department that the recovery of the
seized contraband was made from the Lavatory of the Flight No. AI-335,
Bangkok to Delhi on 25.12.2024 at Terminal No. 3, IGI AIrport, New
Delhi.
However, perusal of the complaint does not reflect any steps
taken as to examination of the persons present in the flight or any further
investigation undertaken other than preparation of the panchnama.
The purpose of investigation is to uncover the truth.
In view of the same, it appears that the investigation has not
been conducted properly in the present case.
I.O. is directed to conduct further investigation in the present
matter and file status report by NDOH.
Put up for further proceedings, as per law on 27.10.2026.
