Matter taken up through hybrid hearing.
Present : Sh. Jogesh Gupta, Ld. Counsel for the complainant
through VC.
Sh. Ajit Kumar, Ld.Counsel for the complainant.
Sh. Kartik Bhagat, Ld. counsel for the accused.
Accused no.2 and 3 are absent.
Accused no.1 is a company.
Matter is fixed for verification of payment.
It is jointly submitted by both the parties that the
matter has been amicably settled between the parties for a total sum
of Rs. 36,87,322/-. Copy of the agreement is also on record.
Two applications seeking exemption from personal
appearance have been moved on behalf of the accused no.2 and 3.
Not objected.
Submissions heard.
Taking a lenient view and considering the submissions
made, the exemption application is allowed for today only.
Today, Ld. counsel for the accused has handed over
DD bearing no. 345012 dated 23.09.24 for an amount of Rs. 6 Lacs
drawn on Yes Bank to Ld.Counsel for the complainant against due
receipt.
It is submitted that till date including the abovestated
DD, a total of Rs.9,98,336/- out of the settlement amount is paid.
Ld. counsel for the accused seeks some time to make
the remaining payment on behalf of the accused persons.
Put up for verification of part payment on 31.01.2025.
