Matter was earlier received by way of transfer. Physical file deposited. Perusal of the record reveals that the mediation between the parties had failed in the matter. However, subsequently, dates were given at joint request of both the parties to consider chances of settlement, if any. Subsequently, the matter was listed for settlement. Ld. Counsel for the accused submits that no settlement can be arrived at with the complainant. Both the parties submit that partial cross examination has already been conducted in case bearing CC No. 6/22 and further cross-examination was deferred. Ld. Counsel for the accused further submits that common cross-examination shall not be conducted. In terms of submission made, now to come up for CE in CC NI Act 6/22 on 03.07.26.
