This court has a pendency of more than 16000 cases. Shorter dates are not
given on account of heavy pendency.
Today, the undersigned is also working as Duty MM.
Present: Ms. Saguna Gupta, Ld. Counsel for the complainant.
Sh. Anuj Gupta, Ld. Counsel for the complainant through VC.
None for accused.
Matter is fixed for report on settlement.
Ld. Counsel for the complainant submits that the accused has paid the
cheque amount but has not paid any legal charges or interest. As such, Ld. Counsel
for the complainant submits that he is not willing to settle the matter at the cheque
amount.
Despite repeated calls, none has appeared on behalf of the accused.
Ld. Counsel for the complainant further submits that the cheque
amount was paid by the accused of his own accord and no settlement was ever
entered into between the parties.
Since none has appeared on behalf of the accused, let summons be
issued to the accused to appear before the Court on the NDOH.
Accused to appear in person on the NDOH.
Put up for further proceedings on 25.11.2025.
