Sh.Ranjan, Branch Manager from Indian Bank (previously Allahabad Bank).
Ld. Counsel for the complainant submits that the copy of documents have been
supplied. The bank witness has submitted that as per the record, the cheque was dishonored as
the cheque was obsolete since the same was issued from the cheque book issued by Allahabad
Bank, which was merged with Indian Bank in the year 2021. It is further stated that on the date
of presentation of cheque i.e. 03.12.2021, the accused did not have sufficient balance to honor
the cheque in question.
Witness is discharged from the present case.
Relist the matter for consideration/PSE on 21.08.2025.
