Regular steno of this court has resigned and no other steno has been
appointed as yet. Substitute steno has been provided today.

Ms. Samridhi Bandyopadhyay, Ld. counsel for the accused.
An application for cancellation of NBWs has been received on the ground that
the accused was out of station for business purposes and had no information with respect to
the Court proceedings, hence could not appear before this court on the LDOH. Submissions
heard and record perused.
It is to be noted that even on the last date of hearing, an exemption was sought
on behalf of accused no.2 citing the reason that he is out of town which was allowed by this
Court. Thereafter, the accused no.2 was directed to be physically present in the court.
However, today also, an exemption application has been moved on behalf of accused no.2
stating that he is travelling for his illness. No medical documents have been attached with
the application and no ground is made out for the non appearance of the accused.
The application stands dismissed.
Put up for report/appearance of accused and further proceedings on
03.12.2024.
PA is directed to do updation of the case and upload the order as per rules.
