Ld. Counsel for complainant submits that since the matter
pertains to Section 354/509 IPC along with other sections, the
complainant be also made a party in view of judgment in
Jagjeet Singh
vs. Ashish Mishra @ Monu (2022) 9 SCC 321.
It is well settled law that in cases of sexual offences, the
victim has right to appear and be part of proceedings of the Court.
Hence, Ld. Counsel for revisionist is directed to make
complainant/victim a party as respondent no. 2 and accordingly file
amended memo of parties.
Meanwhile, at the request of Ld. Counsel for complainant,
they are at liberty to file reply to the present revision with advance
copy to the Ld. Opposite counsel.
Put up for filing reply and arguments on 06.04.2026.
Let fresh notice be issued to the IO to appear in person on
the next date of hearing.
