Further report has been filed wherein it is reported that
applicant/accused stated that he was present on 24.07.2025 (the day on
which co-accused Manoj Gupta was apprehended) at Rajiv Chowk
Metro Station but he slipped taking advantage of the crowd. It is
submitted on behalf of State that in the first report, IO has stated that
accused could be seen in the CCTV footage of the date on which theft
has taken place.
It is submitted that the regular IO of the case has gone to
attend a course and will not be available for two months.
In these circumstances, notice be issued to SHO
concerned to assign the case to any other police official qualified to be
appointed as IO in the case so that case diary and other documents can
be produced in the court.
Renotify the matter on 29.11.2025. Till then, interim
order to continue.
