State Vs. Gurpreet Singh @ Bawa
IN THE COURT OF SH. DEVENDER KUMAR JANGALA,
ASJ-05, NEW DELHI DISTRICT, PHC, NEW DELHI.
Bail Application no.1044/24; FIR no.14/22
State Vs. Gurpreet Singh @ Bawa
PS: Special Cell
Under Section: 406/420/467/468/471/170/120B IPC
20.07.2024
Present: Sh. Mukul Kumar, Ld. Addl. PP for the State.
Sh. Kaushaljeet Kait, Ld.counsel for the applicant/accused.
IO/Inspector Naresh Malik in person.
Further verification report by the IO filed.
This is the bail application under Section 439 Cr. PC moved
on behalf of applicant/accused for grant of interim bail on the ground of
illness of his father. That the father of the applicant/accused is suffering
from hemi cranial pain and he has been advised brain surgery and to get
VP shunt and EUD on 06.07.2024. It is argued that there is no one to take
care of the applicant’s father and therefore surgery is postponed. That the
father of applicant was against taken to Fortis hospital on 10.07.2024 and
the date of surgery has been fixed for 23.07.2024.
It is argued that there is nobody to take care the father of the
applicant/accused at the time and post care of surgery. That the applicant is
having clean antecedents and after completion of investigation charge
sheet has already been filed. It is prayed that the applicant/accused may
kindly be enlarged on bail.
On the other hand bail application is strongly opposed on
behalf of state. It is argued that there are other family members to take care
of applicant’s father and there is no urgent requirement of interim bail.

The medical treatment record of the applicant’s father has
already been verified by the investigating officer. Upon verification the
investigating officer has placed on record one letter dated 17.07.2024

of patient Balbir Singh(father of applicant) is genuine and the surgery of
patient was postponed as there was no attendant available with the patient.

The applicant/accused is in judicial custody since 02.05.2023
and after completion of investigation charge sheet has already been filed.
