Sh. Chaman Kumar Sharma, Ld. Counsel for accused Sunil
Kumar.
Ld. Counsel for accused submitted that the present accused is
a young student who is in custody since 19.06.2022 and no more required
for investigation. The allegations against this accused is that he sat in the
exam for recruitment of Air Force Civilian in place of Karamveer Singh and
was caught copying in exam using unfair means. Ld. Counsel submits that as
the accused is in JC therefore, he be released on bail.
Ld. Addl. PP submitted that accused impersonated and
apprehended while cheating using unfair means therefore, offence is serious
and investigation is still going on. The coaccused is yet to be arrested
therefore, applicant, accused be not released on bail.
Heard. Considering the nature of allegations, the fact that the
accused is in custody since 19.06.2022 and no more required for
investigation, accused Sunil Kumar be released on bail on her furnishing
personal bond in the sum of Rs. 25,000/ with one surety in the like amount
to the satisfaction of concerned Ld. MM/Link MM/Duty MM till the disposal
of the case with directions not to leave India without permission of
concerned court and to join investigation as and when called by the IO.
Application disposed of accordingly. Copy of the order be
given dasti.
