This is an application under section 482 BNSS for grant of anticipatory bail
moved on behalf of accused/applicant Prem Shankar.
Present: Sh. A. B. Asthana, Ld. Addl. PP for the State.
Sh. Yash Malhotra, ld. Counsel for accused/applicant
through VC.
IO Inspector Jagdeep Nara is absent.
Reply to the application filed. Ld. Counsel for accused/applicant
is at liberty to collect the reply from the record.
It is submitted by IO that accused/applicant has joined the
investigation in pursuance of notice under section 35(3) BNSS and during
interrogation, he supplied the Canara Bank Account No. 120028933033 to one
Gurpreet whose details are not disclosed by him during interrogation and
evasive replies have been given. It is further submitted that accused/applicant is
not cooperating during interrogation and he has not provided details of
Gurpreet Singh.
On the other hand, ld. Counsel for the accused submits that he is
ready to furnish details of accused Gupreet Singh.
Submissions heard.
IO is directed to issue fresh notice to accused/applicant to join
the investigation and accused/applicant is directed to cooperate during
investigation and to provide details of Gurpreet Singh.
Put up for further arguments on 24.07.2026. Interim order to
continue till next date.
