Fresh appeal under section 374 of Cr.P.C. against the
judgment dated 22.04.2025 and order on sentence dated
25.04.2025 passed by the Ld. JMFC-01, Patiala House Courts,
New Delhi in case FIR No. 656/2018, Police Station Vasant Kunj
South, is received by way of assignment. It be checked and
registered.
Present: Sh. Pradeep Kumar Nagar, Ld. Counsel for
appellant.
Appellant is present.
The present appeal has been filed against the
judgment dated 22.04.2025 in case FIR No. 656/2018, Police
Station Vasant Kunj South, whereby the appellant has been
convicted for an offence punishable under Section 332 read with
Section 461 and 466-A of DMC Act, 1957. The order on sentence
was passed on 25.04.2025, whereby the appellant is sentenced to
three months simple imprisonment along with fine of Rs.5,000/-
for the offences punishable under Section 332 read with Section
461 and 466-A of DMC Act, 1957, and in default, he shall
undergo additional imprisonment for one month.
Along with the appeal, one application under
Section 389 Cr.P.C. (Section 430 of BNSS) for suspension of the
sentence has also been filed. The sentence imposed upon the
appellant is suspended till the conclusion of the appeal. Appellant
is further directed to furnish bail bond and surety bond in the sum
of Rs.20,000/-.

At this stage, Bail Bonds in a sum of Rs.20,000/-
furnished by the appellant. Same stands accepted.
Notice be issued to the opposite party on filing of
PF/RC.
