All accused persons are present on bail.
Matter is fixed for arguments on the aspect of charge.
Heard arguments on the aspect of charge.
Case of the prosecution is that accused Avinash got
married with the deceased Pooja on 11.12.2020. On 06.09.2023 a
call was received vide GD No. 0042A at around 3 pm regarding
suicide. After receiving the call SI Pooran Mal reached at the
spot i.e. H No. A-261, Second Floor, Ambedkar Basti, Sector 1,
R.K. Puram, Delhi. On reaching the spot, he found that dead
body of a lady was lying on the floor. During enquiry, dead body
was shifted to Safdarjung Hospital and was sent for the
postmortem. SI Pooran Mal got recorded statement of the
complainant / Smt. Beena Devi Ram, mother of the deceased. On
the basis of the contents of the statement of complainant present
FIR was registered.

During investigation, it was found that deceased Pooja
committed suicide by hanging on 06.09.2023 between 10 am to 1
pm at H No. A-261, Second Floor, Ambedkar Basti, Sector 1,
R.K. Puram, Delhi within a period of 7 years from her marriage
with accused Avinash as she was subjected to cruelty and
harassment by all the accused persons in connection of demand
of dowry.
On the basis of material available on record, prima facie
offence under Section 498A/304B/34 of IPC is made out against
the accused persons.
Charge for the offence under Section 498/304B/34 IPC
framed against the accused persos to which they pleaded not
guilty and claimed trial.

Let PW Beena Devi be summoned for NDOH.
