Present: Ld. Counsel for the plaintiff (through VC).
Ld. Counsel for the defendant no. 1/BSES.
Ld. Counsel for defendant no. 2 (through VC).
Today, counsel for defendant no. 1 / BSES has submitted
before the court that in terms of order dated 06.03.2024 passed by the
court, the defendant no. 1/BSES has considered the request of the
plaintiff regarding change in her name on the electricity connection/
meter and the request of the plaintiff has been granted by defendant
no. 1/BSES and change of name has been effected accordingly as
per rule. Copy of concerned bills in the name of plaintiff is also placed
on record.
At this stage, counsel for plaintiff as well as defendant no.
2 have submitted before the court that settlement talks are going on
between the parties in connected matter and it is likely that all the dis-
putes between the parties may be amicably settled.
Accordingly, request for time is granted to both the parties
to arrive at an amicable settlement in the present case and apprise
the court about the same on the NDOH.
Now, put up for report of settlement if any, / further pro-
ceedings on 09.10.2024.
