Matter is taken up physically as well as through VC.
Present: Sh. Karan Arora and Ms. Pinky Tiwari, Ld. Counsels
for the plaintiff along with plaintiff.
Sh. Harshit Kishore, Ld. Counsel for the defendant no.1.
Defendant no. 2-8 were proceeded ex-parte on 11.01.2024.
Fresh evidence by way of affidavit filed on behalf of
defendant no. 1.
DW1 has tendered her evidence by way of affidavit. Cross
examination is deferred as the main counsel for the plaintiff states that
he has received the copy of evidence affidavit today only and needs
time to prepare for the proper cross examination of the defendant.
Both parties submit that there are chances of settlement.
This court also finds that elements of settlement are present in the
instant case. Accordingly, the matter is referred to Mediation Cell,
Karkardooma Courts, Delhi, on 30.05.2026 at 11:30 a.m to enable the
parties to pursue settlement talks.
Parties are directed to appear in person alongwith their
counsels before the Mediation Cell, on the above said date and time.
Ahlmad is directed to send the reference well in advance.
List for awaiting report of settlement, if any, / further
proceedings on 02.07.2026.
