Sh. Kuldeep Singh, ld. Counsel for Defendant no.1 and 2.
Ms. Nur Tandon, ld. Counsel for Defendant no.3.
Vide order dated 20.07.2024, time was granted to the
defendants to file the written statement within a period of 30 days.
However, no written statement has been filed till date. On the request
of both counsels for defendants, one weeks’ time is granted to file the
written statement with an application for condonation of delay.
Advance copy be supplied to the plaintiff. In case of default, the
defence shall be struck off.
Both parties submit that there are chances of settlement.
This court also finds that elements of settlement are present in the
instant case. Accordingly, the matter is referred to Mediation Cell,
Karkardooma Courts, Delhi, on 17.12.2024 at 2 p.m to enable the
parties to pursue settlement talks.
Parties are directed to appear in person alongwith their
counsels before the Mediation Cell, on the above said date and time.
Ahlmad is directed to send the reference well in advance.
List for awaiting report of settlement, if any, / further
proceedings on 21.02.2025.
