Notice u/s. 251 CrPC explaining the substance of the accusation has been served upon the
accused today to which he has pleaded not guilty and has claimed trial. Statement of
accused u/s. 294 Cr.P.C. has also been recorded. Accordingly, witnesses mentioned at
Serial No. 2, 3 & 4 are dropped.
As no substantial defence has been raised by the accused as the stage of
framing of notice, no reason lies before this Court to permit the accused to cross-examine
the complainant. Accordingly, complainant is discharged.
CE stands closed.
