As per settlement, respondent No.3 - insurer has agreed to pay a total compensation of Rs.20,50,000/- (Rupees Twenty Lakhs and Fifty Thousand only) to the petitioners, subject to the award passed by the court. Separate statement of Ld. Counsel for the petitioners and Ld. Counsel for respondent No.3 - insurer has been recorded. Matter is referred to the upcoming Lok Adalat to be held on 10.01.2026 for passing of award. The application is disposed of accordingly. Petitioners are directed to get opened their bank account (without ATM and cheque book) near the place of their residence and produce relevant documents i.e. bank documents and identification documents on the next date alongwith affidavit regarding their financial status.
