Accused Dinesh with Ld. Counsel Sh. Danish Ali.
Heard. NBWs of the accused stand cancelled subject to fine
of Rs.1000/-. Fine paid. Receipt be given.
Ld. Counsel has also filed a bail application on behalf of
accused.
It is stated that accused is innocent and he has not
committed any offence. It is further stated that charge-sheet has been
filed without arrest of the accused. It is also submitted that accused
intend to settle the impugned theft bill qua civil liability. Thus, it is
prayed that accused may be admitted on bail.
Ld. Addl. PP has opposed the bail application stating that
the accused was involved in theft of electricity and there was no
electricity meter in the inspected premises.
The charge-sheet has been filed without arrest, Maximum
Imprisonment of offence for which accused has been chargesheeted, is
of three years or fine or both. Considering the facts of the case, age of
the accused and nature of offence, accused is admitted on bail on his
furnishing personal bond in the sum of Rs.10,000/- with one surety of
the like amount. Bail bonds furnished and accepted.
Now file be taken up on 25.04.2025 for consideration of
notice.
