Reply/calculation chart not filed, till date.
Ld. Proxy AR for the management seeks some more time to file
the reply/calculation chart.
The present matter pertains to the year 2024. However, despite
availing as many as seven opportunities, MCD/management has failed to
file the reply/calculation chart. It appears that MCD is taking orders of this
court lightly. Accordingly, a cost of Rs.10,000/- is imposed upon the MCD
for non complying the order of this court repeatedly. The said cost shall be
paid to the workman on the next date of hearing. This court is not oblivious
of the fact that the said cost shell cause burden on Government Exchequer,
therefore, the management may inquire the matter and fix the responsibility
of the officer/official who had been entrusted under law to compute/ file
the above calculation and may deduct it from his salary, if management
deems it fit.
Be listed for payment of cost and for filing of reply/calculation
chart on 15.07.2026
Copy of this order be sent to concerned Assistant Commissioner
for compliance.
