Matter is listed today for consideration on the
application filed on behalf of accused/applicant Sahil Pal to
substitute the registration certificate of vehicle placed as surety
bond with fixed deposit.
Heard.
By way of the present application, accused/applicant
Sahil Pal is seeking permission to substitute the surety.
Perusal of the file shows that the accused/applicant
Sahil Pal was granted bail by the Hon’ble High Court of Delhi
vide order dated 20.10.2023 subject to furnishing personal bonds
in the sum of Rs. 50,000/- with two sureties in the like amount.
In compliance of the said order, the accused/applicant Sahil Pal
furnished personal bonds in the sum of Rs. 50,000/- and two

sureties. One of the sureties, Kusal Pal furnished the registration
certificate of his vehicle bearing no. DL11CC8671.
By way of the instant application, the
applicant/accused Sahil Pal seeks to withdraw the surety bonds
filed by Kushal Pal and in his place, furnish fresh surety bonds of
his wife Rushali Chandok.
Heard. File perused.
Considering the submissions, the application is
allowed. The accused/applicant may furnish fresh surety bonds
alongwith the FDR in the sum of Rs. 50,000/-. On furnishing of
the fresh surety bonds, the surety bonds earlier furnished by
Kushal Pal shall be cancelled and original RC of vehicle no.
DL11CC8671 shall be returned after cancellation of
endorsement.
Application stands disposed of.
