Applicant/surety Harsh Vardhan alongwith convict
Satya Pal Singh.
This is an application moved by applicant/surety
Harsh Vardhan seeking cancellation of endorsement on his FDR and
passport.
Applicant/surety submits that he stood surety for
convict Satya Pal Singh during trial of his case. Convict Satya Pal
Singh was convicted in this case. Convict filed an appeal against the
judgment and order on sentence alongwith an application for
suspension of sentence before the Hon’ble High Court of Delhi. Vide
order dated 21.11.2024 passed by the Hon’ble High Court of Delhi in
Crl.A.981/2024, sentence of appellant/convict was suspended and he
was admitted to bail on furnishing personal bond in the sum of Rs.
20,000/- alongwith two sureties. Fresh bail bond of convict Satya Pal
Singh was accepted on 27.11.2024. Applicant/surety prays for
cancellation of endorsement on his FDR and passport submitted in
pursuance of bail order dated 09.04.2014 passed by the ld.
Predecessor of this court.
I have perused the case file, which was received from
Record Room.
Since fresh bail bond of convict has already been
accepted, applicant/surety Harsh Vadhan stands discharged.
Accordingly, endorsement on his FDR and passport be cancelled.
Application stands disposed of accordingly.

At this stage, applicant/surety produced his original
passport bearing no. K1105125 and a FDR of Rs. 25,000/- drawn on
State Bank of India, bearing endorsement of this court and the same
are cancelled accordingly.
