IO/ACP (Retd.) J.S. Mehta is present.

A bare perusal of record would reveal that there are
number of discrepancies/variations in the soft copy of charge-sheet
as would have been uploaded on website of CCTNS vis a vis the
hard copy of charge-sheet filed in the present case, in as much as,
the names of Presiding Officer of the Court, as mentioned in soft
copy and hard copy of charge-sheet, are totally different; the
complete details including name, parentage and address of
complainant are found mentioned in Column no. 9 of hard copy of
charge-sheet, whereas, only the name and parentage of
complainant are found mentioned in Column no. 9 of soft copy of
the charge-sheet; the details of case property as mentioned in
Column no. 10 of soft copy of charge-sheet, are found missing in
Column no. 10 of hard copy of the charge-sheet; the relevant sub-
columns of Column no. 11 of hard copy of charge-sheet, do not
match with the sub-columns of Column no. 11 of the soft copy
thereof, apart from the fact that it is mentioned in sub-column no.
(ix) of soft copy of charge-sheet relating to occupation of accused
as “

is meant for particulars of accused persons not charge-sheeted
(suspect) is found totally missing in hard copy of the charge-sheet,
etc. Moreover, the soft copy of charge-sheet is not shown to be
digitally signed by concerned DCP, whereas it ought to have been
so digitally signed, as has been singed by concerned DCP while
forwarding hard copy thereof.
On query being raised to the IO, he has submitted that
the aforesaid discrepancies/variations occurred due to some
technical mistakes. He has also filed his written reply in this
regard. However, the said explanation is not found justifiable at all
as the aforesaid discrepancies/variations, noted herein above, could
not be the result of technical mistakes.

would be appropriate to call for the relevant details/information
from DCP, North-East.
