An application has been filed by IO Inspector Ranvir
Singh seeking 14 days Judicial Custody of Accused Aditya Shankar
Pandey after fresh arrest.

fresh arrest.
IO Insp. Ranvir Singh PS Anti Corruption Branch.
IO has filed the present application seeking fourteen
days’ judicial custody remand of the accused Aditya Shankar
Pandey. IO submits that the investigation is going on and the
accused may tamper with the evidence and therefore, he has
requested that 14 days’ judicial custody of the Accused be
granted to ensure fair investigation into the matter.
The copy of the FIR, grounds of arrest, reasons of
arrest and application seeking 14 days’ judicial custody have
been supplied by the IO to Ld. Counsel for the accused.
The Arrest Memo of the Accused and the grounds of
arrest have been perused. The ground of arrest of accused is that
the accused Aditya Shankar Pandey who was posted as JE at
MCD, West Zone Rajouri Garden, Delhi was demanding
Rs.75,000/- from the complainant for issuing NOC for his
property E-43, Jeevan Park, Uttam Nagar, Delhi and under
pressure, the complainant had already paid Rs.25,000/- on
03.11.2025. Thereafter, the accused was again calling him to pay
the remaining amount of Rs.50,000/-. On the said information,

a raiding team was constitued and the accused was caught red
handed while demanding and accepting bribe money from the
complainant.
Submissions of Ld. Public Prosecutor, the
Investigating Officer and Ld. Counsel for accused have been
heard.
I have gone through the FIR and have examined the
necessity to arrest and also the necessity for judicial remand. The
accusation is well founded.
Considering the relevant factors such as nature of
the accusation, role ascribed to the accused, chances of
tampering with evidence and influencing witnesses, the
application is allowed. Accused Aditya Shankar Pandey is
remanded to JC till 26.11.2025. The Accused be produced on the
next date of hearing physically.
The application is accordingly disposed off.
Copy of this order shall be given dasti to IO
Inspector Ranvir Singh.
Also, copy of this order shall be sent to the Jail
Superintendent, Tihar Jail for information and compliance.
