Application for release of FDR and Sale Deed filed on behalf of
applicant/accused Deepak Chawla is pending.
I have heard arguments on the application. Applicant/accused is directed to
show the original passport. Ld. Counsel for applicant/accused submits that the original
passport has not been produced today and that it will be produced on the next date.
That being so, the application is kept pending for the next date.
This Court had also, by order dated 10.12.2024, issued notice to the Joint
Commissioner to look into the causes of delay in investigation. A status report has been
filed on that behalf by investigating officer where it is stated that draft charge-sheet has
been prepared and that charge-sheet will be filed in the Court.
That being so, the case is fixed for consideration of the application for
release of FDR and Sale Deed on 07.03.2025. Let the charge-sheet be filed within one
month.
