along with Inspt. Somvir is present.
In compliance of directions given vide order dated
01.06.2024, concerned ACP has been required to furnish information
regarding appointment of officials below the rank of ACP, their removal
authority and to clarify prosecution for sanction under Section 19 of P.C.
Act. The information furnished on behalf of concerned ACP is not
complete as information regrading removal authority qua SI and below
officials is required, as well. It is further enquired from the concerned ACP
regrading competency and powers of Commissioner of Police as per Delhi
Police Act, that he is the only person to appoint officials up to the rank of
Sub Inspector and below as well. Concerned ACP seeks some more time to
furnish the reply/information.
At request, one opportunity is granted for submitting the
reply.
Put up for further arguments on charge and reply by ACP on
09.07.2024.
