Arguments on charge & applications seeking discharge
heard and concluded.
Vide separate order pronounced in open court, prima
facie case for the offences punishable under Section 120-B IPC read
with Section 7 of Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 (as amended
w.e.f., 26.07.2018) has been made out and charge for the same has
been framed against all the accused persons to which they pleaded not
guilty and claimed trial. Also, prima facie case for the offences
punishable under Section 7 of Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 (as
amended w.e.f., 26.07.2018) has been made out against accused Jasbir
Singh and Seema Devi and charge for the same has also been framed
to which they pleaded not guilty and claimed trial.
The applications bearing IA No. 2/24, 3/24 and 4/24 of
accused persons seeking discharge have also been dismissed vide
order on charge.
Be put up for PE on 24.09.2024.
