An application intimating death of accused
H.B.Chaturvedi accompanied with receipt of Crematorium has been
filed today by the Ld. Counsel of accused H.B.Chaturvedi with a
request to discharge the Ld. Counsel from this case.
Verification report in respect of death of accused
H.B.Chaturvedi has already been received in CC No. 22/2022
pending before this court. The said report is annexed with the
certificate and statement of grand son of H.B.Chaturvedi. As per the
said report and statement of the grandson of H.B.Chaturvedi
accused H.B.Chaturvedi expired on 05.12.2022. However, death
certificate is still in the process to be issued.
In view of above facts and death of A-1
H.B.Chaturvedi,proceedings against him stands abated. His surety is
discharged, also documents filed by him, if any, be returned, after
cancellation of endorsement, if any, against proper
acknowledgement as per law. The Counsel of accused
H.B,Chaturvedi is also discharged from this case.

An application has been filed seeking adjournment on
behalf of main counsel for accused Pravin Juneja on the ground that
he has to rush to Jaipur due to death in his family. Same is taken on
record.
Separate applications filed on behalf of A-3 Amit
Chaturvedi and A-4 Pravin Juneja seeking exemption from personal
appearance for today. Heard. In view of the averments made in the
applications, A-3 and A-4 are exempted from personal appearance
for today only.
PW-1 Sh. Tapos Chakroborty examined in chief. Cross
examination is deferred at the request of Ld. Counsels for the
accused persons. PW-1 Sh. Tapos Chakroborty is bound down for
NDOH.
PW-3 Sh. Amit Chaudhary examined, cross examined
and discharged.
Put up for PE on 31.01.2023. Two or three witnesses be
summoned for the next date of hearing. Ld. PP for CBI to furnish
the names of the witnesses required to be summoned. Accused/
counsel may take note of the same from the Ahlmad/Prosecution.
