A7 has already been discharged vide order dated
14.09.2016.
An application seeking exemption of A1 from personal
appearance along with copy of documents has been moved. The same is
taken on record.
For the reasons so stated in the application, the application
is allowed and A1 is exempted from personal appearance for today
only.
Today the matter is listed for framing of charges against
the accused persons.
A1 H.B. Chaturvedi is not physically present today. Sh.
Kush Mudgal, Ld. Counsel submits that A1 is very old aged person
and suffering from various acute ailments including severe back pain
due to which he is bedridden and unable to remain physically present

before the court to answer the charge. He further submits that A1 has
duly authorized him to sign the charge on his behalf.
Heard. Record perused. Perusal of the record shows that
since long on every date of hearing, the applications seeking exemption
of A1 are being moved and his medical documents are also being
annexed with the same. In view of the serious ailments which A1 is
suffering coupled with the fact that A1 is bedridden for the last several
years, this court does not feel it appropriate to insist upon the personal
appearance of A1. Accordingly, Sh. Kush Mudgal, Ld. Counsel for A
1 is allowed to sign the charges on behalf of A1.
In terms of order dated 22.09.2022 passed by the court,
respective charges framed against the accused persons. On behalf of A
1 Sh. Kush Mudgal, Ld. Counsel for A1 has signed the charges framed
against A1. In the charges so framed today, all the accused persons
pleaded not guilty and claimed trial.
Put up this matter for PE, on 02.11.2022. At least
three/four witnesses be summoned for the next date of hearing. Ld.
Public Prosecutor for the CBI shall furnish the names of the witnesses
required to be summoned. Accused persons/their counsels may take
note of the same from the Ld. PP for the CBI/Ahlmad.
