Sh. Rishabh Sharma, Ld. Defence Counsel for accused Sandeep
Singh.
Vide separate order on charge pronounced in open court, application
U/s 227/239 Cr.P.C. as filed on behalf of accused Sandeep Singh seeking
discharge is dismissed and prima facie case for the offences U/s 120B IPC is
made out against both the accused as well as a case U/s 7&13 (1)(d) of PC Act
punishable U/s 13(2) of Prevention of Corruption Act r/w Section 120B IPC is
made out against accused Sandeep Singh and U/s 8&12 of the PC Act r/w Section
120B IPC is made out against accused Avnish Kumar. Accordingly, charge for
the aforesaid sections is framed against both accused namely Sandeep Singh and
Avnish Kumar to which they pleaded not guilty and claimed trial.
Ld. Defence Counsels submits that they do not wish to admit any
document relied upon by the prosecution U/s 294 Cr.P.C.
Put up for PE on 29.10.2022. Let complainant and Duty Officer i.e.
witness mentioned at serial no. 25 be summoned for next date of hearing.
