PW-11 Sh. Kamal Kishore examined in chief, cross-examined and discharged. PW Sh. Varun Rana is present but discharged unexamined at the request of Ld. Chief PP for State on the ground that assistance of IO is required for examination of said witness, however, IO/Insp. Praveen Kumar is absent despite service of summons and has sent written request seeking exemption from personal appearance stating therein that due to Republic Day Celebration arrangement duty, he is unable to appear in the Court today. For the reasons stated therein, the IO concerned is personally exempted for today. On being asked, PW Sh. Varun Rana submits that it would not be possible for him to appear as a witness in this case on 05.02.2026 i.e. the date already fixed.
