PW-16 Sameer Sharma and IO/Inspector Bhanwar
Lal Jat were summoned for today.
PW-16 Sameer Sharma has sent written request for
exemption from personal appearance stating that he being posted
in J&K as Dy. Inspector General of Police, is unable to appear
today due to unavoidable pre-occupied official commitments.
Ld. Sr. PP for CBI submits that PW-16 has requested
that next date of hearing for his evidence to be fixed for
12.12.2025, if possible. In view of the submission, PW-16 is
exempted from personal appearance only for today. The next
date of 12.12.2025 is given as per the request of the witness.
It is submitted by Ld. Sr. PP for CBI that another
written request seeking exemption from personal appearance has
been received from IO/Inspector Bhanwar Lal Jat on their
WhatsApp today stating that he is on official leave till

06.11.2025. In view of the submission, IO/Inspector Bhanwar
Lal is also exempted from personal appearance only for today.
Accordingly, issue fresh summons to IO/Inspector
Bhanwar Lal Jat for 26.11.2025 and to PW-16 Sameer Sharma
for 12.12.2025.
