Proceedings against accused Mahesh Kumar Gupta
stand abated vide order dated 23.12.2025.
The death verification report of accused Harsh
Vardhan Madan has been received on behalf of SHO, PS ACB
alongwith his death certificate duly certified from the office of
concerned Sub-Registrar as well as the statement of the son of the
accused stating that the accused had expired on 28.04.2026. The
same are taken on record. In view of the death verification report
as well as the death certificate, proceedings against accused Harsh
Vardhan Madan stand abated.
Further, order dated 19.08.2026 passed by Hon’ble
High Court of Delhi has been received as per which present
proceedings against accused Gajanfar Ali have been quashed. Ld.
Counsel for the accused has also filed an application for discharge
of surety. The SHO has not appeared but he has telephonically
informed that the state is considering whether to file an appeal
against the said order or not. Issue notice upon the SHO to file his

report regarding filing of appeal on or before the next date of
hearing.
List for filing of report by the SHO as well as
consideration on charge vis a vis accused Saminder Singh Nagi on
06.11.2026.
