Counsel for plaintiff submitted that defendant has paid the cost of Rs. 5,000/- on 24.09.2026 and same is not in terms of last dated order. On the delay, Ld. Proxy counsel for defendant submitted that due to lapse on the part of the CA of defendant company, cost could not be deposited / paid within 02 weeks of last dated order. No reasonable ground / sufficient cause shown on behalf of the defendant, accordingly, cost is now enhanced and defendant is further directed to pay Rs. 2,000/- to the plaintiff within the course of the day, failing which application of defendant for leave to defend shall be dismissed. Ld. Proxy counsel for defendant seeks adjournment for want of main counsel on medical grounds (viral fever). Same is opposed by stating that counsel for defendant be directed to produce relevant medical document on NDOH. Request of Ld. Counsel for plaintiff is declined.
