Ld. counsel seeks adjournment to furnish surety bonds
qua accused Manish Khanna.
Ld. Counsel for the accused has submitted the
compliance u/s 230 BNSS has been made.
Clarifications sought from IO / HC Sondev qua suspect
Anil Khanna.
Perusal of record reflects that he was not charge-sheeted
on the ground that there was no evidence indicating his presence at the
scene of crime on the day of incident. Upon interrogation, he had
stated that on the day of incident, he had met with an accident and had
visited a doctor.
No CDR of the suspect has been obtained despite the
fact that he was named by the complainant and the injured in their
statements. In view of the above-said observations, the court deems it
apposite to direct further investigation qua suspect Anil Khanna. The
IO is directed to obtain the medical documents indicating his absence
from the scene of crime, the statement of the concerned doctor, CDR
details of the suspect and file a status report on the next date of
hearing.
Let notice be issued to IO / HC Sondev to file
supplementary charge-sheet, if any on the next date of hearing. Let
copy of order be annexed with the notice.
Put up for filing of supplementary charge-sheet, if any
on 12.08.2025.
