complainant.
Accused in person with Ld. Counsel Ms. Sunita Narayan.
Matter is at the stage of CE.
Ld. Counsel for the complainant submits that the complainant is not
available today as the complainant slipped from stairs a few days back and is on bed
rest and has requested for an adjournment. Perusal of record shows that frequent
adjournments have been sought on behalf of the complainant on medical documents,
but no medical documents have been furnished till date. Further, a specific direction
was given to the complainant to furnish the documents for the medical reasons stated
on the LDOH, but no such document has been furnished. Today, a document
concerning the reason mentioned today only has been furnished. An objection is taken
by Ld. Counsel for the accused stating that the previous frequent absence of the
complainant has been deliberate and that no documents as directed vide last order has
been furnished. Adjournment granted subject to a cost of Rs. 2000/- to be paid to
accused on or before NDOH.
In the interest of justice, one last and final opportunity is granted to the
complainant to lead CE subject to the payment mentioned-above.
List the matter for CE on 04.04.2026.
