Present: Mr. Manish Bansal, Ld. APP for State.
Investigating Officer SI Mahavir in person.
Inspector Devender Kaushik, SHO PS Daryaganj,
present through VC.
The matter is listed today for appearance of the SHO and
the Investigating Officer, as the case has been pending for filing of
sanction under Section 39 of the Arms Act.
In compliance with the earlier order, Inspector Devender
Kaushik, SHO PS Daryaganj, has submitted a report stating that there
has been apparent lapse/misconduct on the part of IO SI Mahavir
owing to his negligent discharge of duty. Despite receipt of the FSL
result, the IO failed to move any appropriate application or request for
obtaining sanction under Section 39 of the Arms Act through the
proper channel till date. The SHO has further submitted that necessary
action is being initiated in this regard and efforts are underway to
obtain the requisite sanction.
Submissions considered. Time is granted in the interest
of justice.
Let the matter be now put up for filing/consideration of
sanction under Section 39 of the Arms Act on 28.11.2025.
The order be uploaded as per rules.
