Present: Sh Atul Bansal, Ld counsel for the complainant.
Accused absent.
Mr Saharul Alam Laskar & Mr Rajat K. Mittal, Ld counsel for the accused
through VC (8777768011).
Matter is at the stage of framing of notice/furnishing of bail bonds.
On the LDOH, accused was directed to appear in person. However, he has failed
to do so.
Ld counsel for the accused submits that he will file his vakaltnama within one
week. Allowed.
Oral exemption from personal appearance is sought on behalf of accused on the
ground that he is unable to travel to Delhi from Assam due to heavy rains. Same is allowed for
today only. Accused is directed to appear in person on the NDOH, failing which, NBWs shall be
issued against him.
It is jointly submitted that there are chances of amicable settlement between the
parties and it is requested that the matter be referred to Mediation Centre.
Vide referral form, both the parties are directed to appear before Mediation
Centre on 10.08.2025 at 12 Noon.
Be put up for settlement, if any/further proceedings before this court on
21.09.2026.
