Present: Ld counsel for the complainant.
Matter is at the stage of consideration.
Affidavit has been filed in terms of last order. Perused.
Perusal of the record shows that as per the CIS, the case was filed on 07.05.2026.
Accordingly, there is delay in filing of the present case.
Ld counsel for the complainant submits that the case was filed within period of
limitation on 21.04.2026.
Perusal of the record shows that as per the e-filing history filed along with the case, the
case entry was initiated on 21.04.2026 but the case file was finally submitted on 07.05.2026.
Subsequently, the case was verified by the concerned branch on 11.05.2026. Moreover, even the
documents were uploaded on 07.05.2026.
As per the Rule 14.1 of e-filing Rules of the High Court of Delhi, 2021, the date of
efiling will be taken as the date when the action is electronically received in the registry within the
prescribed time on any working day. Hence, the date of filing cannot be stated to be 21.04.2026 but the
same would be 07.05.2026. Hence, there is delay in filing of the present case.
Accordingly, complainant is directed to file application for condonation of delay.
Be put up for further proceedings on 29.10.2026.
